Denver Zoo
Founded in 1896, Denver Zoo is a family-oriented establishment with an emphasis on community and wildlife preservation. Their current identity, however is incongruent with the contemporary and fresh image that they want to convey to their target audience – families and children. My proposal consisted of a complete overhaul of their brand identity with a more dynamic colorful approach to be catchy and memorable! This new identity was then translated into existing zoo collaterals with a focus on promotional products.

The Concept
The new logo was crafted with a vibrant color palette, aiming to engage young audiences and suit various occasions and events. My primary objective was to create a lively and energetic design that remains legible across different collateral. I integrated colorful animal prints into the design, establishing a modular system inspired by the Denver Zoo's diverse attractions. Additionally, I included animal illustrations to complement this youthful and fresh concept. These animal motifs offer a more subdued alternative to the bold prints, catering to those who prefer a low-key approach.
